Pah, my Trumpy will slaughter all of those (apart from perhaps the VMax) all you need is two cylinders and a supercharger!

Black SuperStorm, shortie TORs, wilbers +10mm shocks, Hagon progressive fork springs, Harrison Billet 6 pots.

Out of the 10 I have only test driven the Vrod and RIII. The VRod is faster than shit, but THE most uncomfortable cruiser I have ever ridden. The riding position puts you in like a parallel U w short bars and forward pegs. The Rocket is fast but still pretty comfortable. But where in the Hell do you put your luggage on a Diavel?

The ride may be fun, but in the Great Scheme of things, it really is about the destination! John 3:16

Per my dealers sales manager who will be at the event the dealer conference in London later this month is being called "The Big Reveal"
Or something like that . Apparently corp keeps tossing around the big term.
His lips are sealed about the models to be revealed, if he even knows.

If you guys will recall the dealer conference was in Chicago last year, a few days before the meeting a local dealer released a cell phone pic of the new Speedmaster.
People laughed and said that was not a real picture or a new model only to be proved wrong when the bike was revealed.

Hopefully we'll see some spy photos this week. I'm expecting to see the 1200 Scrambler, a 1200 Speedtwin and the new Rocket.
I could be wrong as I've been wrong many times before.

And why someone's head is blocking the view, i can't make out the full exhaust, though nice headers. And spoke wheels, it can't be. ...too many questions.

Thnx Bob.

Is this for real or a prototype?? I wouldn't considered it a classic cruiser but very interesting. I think Triumph modeled it after the Bobber...their top selling bike.

Over here we're also getting rumours of a new 2000 cc Thunderbird.

I don't have any info on if this is a new production bike or just something they're working on but considering they rode one out on the stage it's got to be close. Other rumor I've read is 2,500 cc and 170 hp. This is coming from Facebook posts from people who were at the dealer meeting.

Good News! And it makes sense. Now Triumph has a cc gap between 1200 and 2500. The new Thunderbird (or something similar) may be inevitable.

What a beast. Has to be a kick in the pants to ride. I love my Storm but the Rocket and the extra grunt must be a thrill when you roll on the throttle.

Loved my Storm bigtime too...this is the 2nd Rocket i have had since. It has many additions since i bought it new just b4 xmas 2016.
Like any motor, if you open the airways and let them breathe...in and out...tune the fuel/air accordingly, they go alot better. This has PCV, Jardine headers and cans and a dyno tune. The torque, balance, comfort, power and sound suit me just fine. I had trouble with my lower back and the feet forward position on my Storm which isn't a problem with the Roadster cos the feet are more under you...i can stand up when riding to stretch or put my feet forward on the pegs i have put on.
Would have kept the Storm if finances allowed just cos she was a beautiful machine...but...
As you say, its a kick in the pants to ride! dosnt take long to get the needle right around i can tell you.!

I'll post this here instead on in the brake thread where I was asked the question.

Here's what I know. The 1200 SpeedTwin with the Thruxton engine, T120/ Street Cup type styling along with cast wheels is a given and is set to be announced on Dec the 4th. The Speedtwin was set to be released at the past Eicma show in Milan. Foe some reason Triumph decided not to show the Speedtwin. It's my guess they wanted the 1200 Scrambler to be the show case as they're hopeing it will be a new cash cow. I'm sure they did not want the Speedtwin to steal the spotlight as there appears to be quite an interest in the Speed.

A New Rocket concept was shown at the dealer meetings in London a couple of weeks ago as discussed above. The Rocket could be a full blown production bike but I suspect it will be a TFC, Triumph Factory Custom as was discussed at the dealer meeting. Triumph will be offering factory "custom" bikes and I suspect this is where the new Rocket will be found.

No real rumblings about a New Bird, other than internet talk. If Triumph is coming with a New Bird it will be their best kept secret ever. Normally if a new bike/design is in the mix you'll see some "spy" photos about a year before it's on the market. Tbird, Nothing.
